I'd been a happy purveyor of a local CD and record store for nearly twenty years. I started it because of my fascination for music and collecting records. My wife proposed that maybe I should start a business. I think she was hoping to get those records out of the home. I ran a shop for a long time but about two years ago I decided having a small company was sucking the fun out of the music. I listed my business on the market. The decision was hard but actually finding a buyer was even more hard.
I decided to find a business adviser to help me the best buyer. I wanted to shun selling to national companies. The new owner, I hoped, would keep the small, local store feeling. Once I located a handyman business opportunities Detroit MI I was glad they would try to respect my yearning.
Now that it's not my store I still stop by as a fan of music. I'm always looking for unique music, but unluckily it's caused my own record collection to balloon once again. Hopefully, I'll keep these records to my myself this time.
