Naturalist and Conservationist Forrest is Our Planet's Top Advocate!

At age 14, Galante was the youngest person ever to head an international canoe safari down the Zambezi River. And this is just one of the many examples of Galante's early expeditions. Galante is truly passionate about education and helping people save our most valuable resource-our planet. His hands-on approach with wildlife and his scientific background are assets to biological groups around the world as he usually seeks to partner with local groups exploring remote regions. As a naturalist, Forrest strives to leave a positive, biological impact no matter if he's searching for fresh-water turtles in Africa or Komodo dragons in Indonesia.

Galante was the public's favorite participant on Discovery Channel's show 'Naked and Afraid' in December of 2013, where he spent 21 days in the jungles of Panama. The cast smartly followed his lead as Forrest's skills became apparent. This was the public's introduction to the adventurist Forrest Galante. He is now the host of Animal Planet's top show 'Extinct or Alive,' where he uses his unique skill-set to search for evidence that animals declared extinct may still be in the wild. Galante deems this the most detrimental television work he has ever done, as it partners education with conservation and adventure with nature. It's his dedication to the wild parts of the planet we live on that attracts us to this adventourous person.
